1st HCA Knowledge Meeting: Applying the HCA Code of Ethics

Date: Τρίτη, 25 Οκτωβρίου 2011
All Day

We are pleased to announce the launch of the HCA knowledge meetings on Tuesday October 25th at 19:00-21:00, at OTE Academy, Marousi.

Every two months approximately, the Knowledge Meetings will host Greek and foreign colleagues and other professionals, with the aim to:

  1. Support the Continuous Professional Development of our members
  2. Help create a stronger community amongst our members and those interested in coaching
  3. Provide information on issues of common interest, such as accreditation
  4. Provide a forum for the expansion of dialogue with the participation of all stakeholders -clients, coaches, sponsors, academic community, press, etc.

The first Knowledge meeting deals with a topic that is of interest to all coaches, the application of the Code of Ethics and how the HCA/EMCC Code can help navigate ethical dilemmas that occur in practicing coaching. In this highly participative workshop, you will explore, discuss and debate some of the core issues that we face when coaching. With the HCA/ EMCC Code of Ethics as a guide, we will tackle and resolve questions of ethical ambiguity, contractual terms and boundary management.

The workshop will be facilitated by three members of the HCA Board.

  • Alexandra Eleftheriou- President HCA
  • Marialexia Margariti- Vice President Standards HCA
  • Gilles Gambade – Vice President Standards EMCC & Vice President Communications & Marketing HCA
