26th EMCC Global Conference, 1-3 June 2020 online

Date: Δευτέρα, 01 Ιουνίου 2020 - Τετάρτη, 03 Ιουνίου 2020
All Day

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have moved the 26th Annual Conference to a virtual/online platform
Book your place at the Virtual Conference here

If you have already booked the conference originally to take place in Paris then YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REBOOK – your booking has automatically been transferred.  If you are not receiving emails about your booking (three were sent in April 2020 and more will be sent in May 2020) please urgently contact administrator@emccglobal.org or use our chat function on the bottom right of this page. Information on how to choose your session will be sent out week commencing 18 May 2020.

The conference was due to take place in France and although the French government have advised that although the current lockdown may end on 11 May 2020 the return will be progressive and public places (restaurants, cafes and hotels, cinemas, theatres, performance venues, and museums) will remain closed at this stage. In other countries the lockdown is also beginning to ease but there is no current sign of a complete return to ‘normality’ by 1 June 2020.

Irrespective of the official position, we also recognise that everyone’s personal circumstances could mean that delegates may also be unwilling to travel and/or attend the conference that was due to take place in Paris.

As always, we are committed to offer the best value to all our participants:

  • We are working to ensure that, as much as possible, the timetable will remain as previously advertised though there may be some movement of sessions to allow speakers in certain time zones to present at a more appropriate time.
  • In addition, after the conference, participants will now also have access to a recording of ALL the sessions and plenaries, for the days they have booked – this means that if you book the three days of the conference an additional 28 sessions (instead of the usual 10 sessions) will be available to you.
  • Wherever appropriate, we will also encourage our presenters to offer one free additional interactive session during the summer to offer an extra interactive and reflective dialogue with their audience.
  • We are also working on creating various online possibilities with the aim of offering innovative networking opportunities that usually exist during a physical conference.
